Android gaming is getting bigger and better every month, and there is always a slew of new titles coming to Google Play. Whether you’re a casual gamer or want something with a bit more meat on its bones, there’s usually a game coming out to suit everyone’s taste. Some months are better than others, but there is usually at least one great new game on mobile every month. Let’s look at the best new Android games from the last month! The best NEW Android games from March 2023
Ace Racer
Price: Free to play
Ace Racer is a racing game with some fun elements. You race around the track using a variety of customizable cars. That part is pretty standard among mobile racers. This version lets you add some very colorful customizations. There are also some neat abilities, like the ability to fly or boost super fast. What makes this one entertaining is the slightly over-the-top presentation. It acts like other racers, but it definitely doesn’t look like them. It’s fun and there are plenty of things to do.
BT21 Pop Star
Price: Free to play
BT21 Pop Star is a match-three puzzle game. It plays like most others. You move the cutesy little blocks around until you match three or more blocks. They disappear, and you continue doing that until the level ends. In addition to its core gameplay, the game also includes episodes of Universtar BT21, which is nice for fans of that. There is also a survival mode that is a bit different from most match-three games. It’s decently good and family-friendly, just like most other match-three games.
Doctor Who: Lost in Time

Doctor Who: Lost in Time is an idle game featuring characters from the popular TV show. The game is pretty straightforward. You generate resources to upgrade various gadgets in order to produce more resources. As you progress, you also get a story where you revisit classic arcs from the show’s past, but with new plots. There is also a card-collecting mechanic where you collect members of the show. Yes, that means there are a lot of things to do. Fans of the show may enjoy this one, but idle game fans can find better examples in the genre.
Drift CarX Racing
Price: Free to play
Drift CarX Racing is a racing game with an emphasis on drifting. Players race their way around curvy tracks and use good drifting to earn an edge over the competition. Races are frenetic, and it lends to the arcade feel of the game. Players get only one car but unlock frames, colors, and tunings in order to make it drift and drive better. There are also a few different game modes to enjoy. The only knock against the game is its barebones controls which don’t give a lot of control to the player.
Immortal Rising
Price: Free to play
Immortal Rising is an idle RPG with some neat ideas. It’s a 2D game with some flashy graphics that are actually pleasing to look at. You play the game and grow like you would in any RPG. Meanwhile, you get to continue grinding when you’re not online. The game has simple progression, linear gameplay, and plenty of things to do. Obviously, the grind is pretty long, but it’s an idle game, so you expect it to be. This is a better example of an idle RPG that we’ve seen, but it’s not perfect.
Mighty Doom

Mighty Doom is the latest game from Bethesda, and it’s using the Doom name to sell a mobile game. Unfortunately, it plays nothing like a Doom game. Fortunately, it’s still pretty fun. The game is a top-down shooter where you move around levels, take out bad guys, and collect cool stuff to use later. The controls are fairly basic, and most of the time you’re moving around to avoid bad-guy attacks. This is one of those titles where it gets worse the more you expect a Doom-like experience, but it’s pretty fun once you let go of the fact that it’s not a real Doom game.
MLB Tap Baseball 23

MLB Tap Baseball 23 is the latest iteration of the popular mobile baseball franchise. It’s released just in time for the start of the 2023 season. This year’s version includes updated rosters, some new things to do, and more. For the uninitiated, this is a baseball simulator. You collect characters, put together a team, play against other players, and try to improve your team over time. There are some light baseball mechanics, but it’s far from the console giants that rule the baseball game roost. If you can handle EA’s occasionally obnoxious in-app purchases, it’s not a bad baseball game.
Paranormasight
Price: $18.99
Paranormasight is the latest Square Enix release, and this is one of those really good games. It’s a visual novel game with some horror and mystery elements. There are several characters in the game who are affected by the same turn of events, known as the Seven Mysteries of Honjo. You play through the game, make decisions, and see how the game turns out. The game has controller support, virtually no bugs, and one of the best stories in a mobile game this year. Don’t be surprised if we put this one on the best-of-the-year list in December.
Street Fighter: Duel

Street Fighter: Duel is an idle RPG game with Street Fighter elements. This one is a bit odd. We’re not sure why they turned Street Fighter into an idle game, nor do we know why it was published by Crunchyroll. However, what we can tell you is that it’s a pretty decent idle game. You go into combat with three fighters. From there, you beat up a bunch of bad guys. The controls are simple, so fighting game fans will be disappointed, but the rest of the game plays out quite nicely. We’d tone down the microtransactions a bit, and we’re not fans of the limited play time. Otherwise, it’s not bad.
Uncharted Waters Origin
Price: Free to play
Uncharted Waters Origin is a unique game. It’s an open-world game where you sail the high seas, take on bad guys, trade goods, and otherwise run a business. The world you play in is the real one, so the landmarks, seas, and maps are real. The game takes place in the 16th century, so it has that old-timey feel to it. You can also collect historical figures from around that era. The only issue with this game is the bugs. Some of the functions don’t always work, there are clunky menus, and the microtransactions are a bit too aggressive for our tastes. It’s wonderful to look at, but it could be better to play.
