The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild (January 28)
Disney acquired the Ice Age franchise when it bought 20th Century Fox. Now, it debuts the first-ever Ice Age movie made under Disney for the streaming service. In fact, it’s a spin-off of the main film series. The possum brothers Crash and Eddie get trapped in a cave but are saved by the one-eyed weasel, Buck Wild (voiced by Simon Pegg). Now they all need to get out of the dinosaur-filled Lost World.
Eternals (January 12)
Just over two months after it debuted in theaters, this Marvel Studios movie makes its Disney Plus debut for no additional cost. This may be the most divisive film ever made for the MCU, so if you missed it in theaters, you can soon see what all the fuss was about. It centers on 10 human-looking aliens, who came to Earth thousands of years ago to fight off the Deviants. The Eternals thought their mission was done, but now the Deviants are back, and this group needs to come back together to help stop the destruction of Earth.
