On this week’s episode of the AppleInsider Podcast, the much-awaited Apple Music Classical has finally been unveiled, and there are some surprises amongst the news. Plus there’s now a yellow iPhone, which must mean we’re midway to the iPhone 15.

Apple Music Classical is here — or at least you can preorder the iPhone app and the service will go live on March 28. Yet as much as we’ve waited for it, as welcome as it is, there are still some oddities.

Such as why it’s only an iPhone app. And while Apple makes a point of emphasizing just how high quality the music streaming will be, it’s hard to see how anyone will get to hear it at that level.

Then it’s a funny week when an app preorder seems to be bigger news than a new iPhone, but maybe it’s because we’ve seen yellow iPhones before. Perhaps more significantly, we’re now used to there being a new color iPhone released just about exactly halfway between the annual releases.

So you could debate whether now is a good or a bad time to buy a new iPhone 14, or you could talk about how very, very yellow this one is.
